We left the end of Harry's Fifth Year, with the news of Voldemort's return breaking out into the Wizarding World. And now, the war has begun.
Cornelius Fudge resigns as Minister at the start of the summer and is replaced by Amelia Bones. Her and Dumbledore work toward building their forces, but it proves to be difficult with the abrupt change in the Wizarding World.
Meanwhile, Lord Voldemort, after the Battle at the Ministry at the end of the previous year, his forces are dwindling as well. With only a few of his most loyal by his side, he also works tirelessly to regain what he has lost.
Things in the Wizarding World have unraveled fast. Fear has settled in and suspicions are high. Everyone has begun to divide and choose where their loyalties lie.
Nonetheless, the summer is quiet for Harry and his fellow students as the Sixth Year opens up. However, it soon begins to show that even at Hogwarts, the tension is mounting.
With the threat of Lord Voldemort looming closer everyday, Harry and his friends face the dangers and the truth of the Second War.
